Our Instructor

DSC_2020.jpg

Jamie Watson is thrilled to be able to share her passion for pets of all kinds (she has owned everything from reptiles to rodents and fish, as well as dogs and cats), with her greatest passion being teaching others. Jamie’s experience in the pet industry started in 2007 when she got a job at a pet store as her first job out of high school. From there she moved up to a dog daycare facility, then on to dog training school - until she eventually settled as the Team Trainer at North Shore Dog Walkers, where she has been since 2012. When Jamie learned that she could become an instructor for pet first aid, she jumped at the chance to be a part of the Walks ’N’ Wags team, and completed her instructor training in November 2017.

Today you can find her daily on the North Shore hiking trails, and on the weekends when she isn’t teaching classes she usually spends her time knitting cozy things for her family and friends and spending quality time with her husband, Paul, French Bulldog, Butters, and her young son, Joey.
